Cup with thumb rest- Black swirls

These cups were make with comfort in mind.  Each cup has a dimple on the side, for your thumb to comfortably rest.  

Made on the potters wheel. I create my patterns with colored clay layered over the surface of the pot while the clay is still wet. This technique leaves a slightly raised pattern and adds a soft tactile feel to the finished piece of pottery.
